After announcing plans to increase their flight schedule between Melbourne and Abu Dhabi in August, Etihad Airways has now announced that they will increase flights to and from Sydney beginning in July 2025. With the airline serving an international network of over 120 destinations, we’ll see this increase deliver more Business Class availability for international travellers.

Etihad Airways Sydney Schedule

The airline will now offer ten flights from Sydney, up from the existing seven, as part of the enhanced schedule rollout that will begin in December this year. The rollout will include frequent flights from Abu Dhabi to major European cities, including Paris, Milan, Rome, Manchester, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Barcelona and Madrid.

Etihad's Melbourne flight schedule will change from the end of October, and more flights will be added in early 2025.

This is all part of Etihad's strategic promise to serve more key destinations twice daily as fast as possible. The new summer schedule shows the airline's commitment to growth and support of tourism in Abu Dhabi.

The airline is improving the timing of its flights to more convenient morning and evening departures and arrivals, giving travellers more flexibility to choose the schedule that suits their travel needs. Etihad hopes that offering 2 p.m. departures from Abu Dhabi will provide passengers with convenient check-out times from their hotels, while morning arrivals will give travellers more time to explore and start their travels.

Passengers will soon be able to explore more of Europe with Etihad as the airline plans to ass Warsaw and Prague to their network.
