Lufthansa Airbus A350 Welcomes First Class Cabin
Munich has officially welcomed Lufthansa’s first Airbus A350-900 which has the Allegris First Class cabin and new Business Class suites onboard.

Munich has officially welcomed Lufthansa’s first Airbus A350-900 which has the Allegris First Class cabin and new Business Class suites onboard. For the first time ever, guests in Lufthansa Business Class can enjoy their own entire suite!

The aircraft with the First Class cabin is set to take off in the near future, as there are still final touches and crew familiarisation processes in place. If you’re looking to fly onboard the Lufthansa Allegris on your way to Europe, the Business Class suites are sure to impress.

Introduction and Flight Schedules of Lufthansa Allegris

The Lufthansa Allegris cabin has seen an upgrade across First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class. There will be 80 new aircrafts, including the A350-900, Boeing 777-9 and the 787-9s, that will be equipped with the cabins- hopefully by 2026. The German airline will also retrofit its current A350-900, 747-8, and 787-9 aircraft to have its flagship cabins. We recently flew Lufthansa's A350-900 Business Class and have a full review of our experience.

Schedules for the Lufthansa Allegriss cabin shows that there should be 21 weekly itineraries from Munich Airport starting in November. Unfortunately, the 263-seat A350-900s that will be flying at first do not have the first class cabin.

Onboard the A350-900 are three exclusive suites, including two single suites and one double. These are made to allow passengers to feel like they are at home in their own living rooms. It is a completely new travel experience that is made for a more seamless long-haul Business Class flight.

So, what can you expect when flying on the Lufthansa A350 Business Class suite?

Lufthansa Business Class guests will look forward to their own entire suite, offering more privacy and comfort due to the high walls and sliding doors. There are multiple seat options, including an extra-long bed, greater personal space, or a double seat.

Seats can be extended into a fully flat bed at least two metres long as well as heated and cooled to give Lufthansa Business Class travellers so much flexibility. For extra comfort, seats feature a shoulder sink-in for increased side sleeping comfort. Of course, each seat has direct aisle access.

Other features include our personal favourite- a personal minibar in the suite! An amazing touch is that guests are able to connect their own devices to the entertainment system via Bluetooth. Guests onboard Lufthansa Business Class have a monitor up to 27 inches in size, ample storage and a control unit that provides access to seating options, lighting, entertainment and the heating and cooling options.

From the CEO of Lufthansa

Jens Ritter, CEO of Lufthansa has spoke up about the introduction of the very first Allegris first class cabin in the A350.

“For Lufthansa Airlines, the arrival of our [Allegris first class cabin] is a major step in restrengthening our position as a premium carrier. While I enjoyed presenting the mock-up for the first time a while back, I can’t wait to see the First Class fly for real.” Ritter said.

“You will certainly enjoy the privacy: To change your clothes, you don’t have to leave your suite. There is so much space and a generous wardrobe within your suite.”
