Oman Air is the latest airline to replace its First Class cabin with an enhanced Business Class product called the “Business Studio.” The Business Studio will initially be featured on London and Bangkok routes with Oman Air.

What To Expect

This new cabin, which will replace Oman Air’s First Class product, will keep the spacious cabin layout, fully flat beds, and Wi-Fi connectivity, but will offer a more affordable service tailored to modern travellers. Guest seating in the Business Studio will experience the best Business Class available, with one of the world’s most generous pitches at 82’, privacy walls for every sea, a 23-inch personal screen, free Wi-Fi connectivity and a la carte dining.

Oman Air’s Current Business Class

Oman Air’s current Business Class is one of the best value Business Class tickets on the market, with the innovative ‘Apex Suite’ Business class product being both spacious and private. All passengers have direct aisle access, generous amenities and excellent meal service. We expect the new Business Studio to be a heightened version of this.

What Routes Will Be Affected?

This new Business Class offering will be featured predominantly on the London and Bangkok services. This will give traveller taking these routes a new higher-tier Business Class experience.

Who Is It For?

Oman Air has made this decision based on guest feedback and also as a response to global market trends. The traditional First Class experience has seen a drop in demand in recent years, prompting Oman Air to retire the product. This decision will allow the airline to focus on delivering an exceptional Business Class experience, one that better meets the modern traveller's expectations. Oman Air is targetting customers travelling for wellness, adventure, and business travel.

When Can You Book

Oman Air has not yet released the prices of the new Business Studio, but the seats will become available to customers on September 9 2024.

This announcement comes just after Oman Air received its latest Boeing 787-9 aircraft delivery as part of its strategy to fly a modern fleet, while also maintaining efficiency, optimising maintenance costs and a consistent customer experience. The new aircraft features 30 Business Class seats and will operate across the airlines' extensive network.
