Start planning your 2023 European Summer with the relaunch of Qantas’ non-stop route to Europe from Perth. The service will fly from Sydney to Perth before continuing on to Rome, and will be operated by the popular 787 Dreamliner in economy, premium economy and business class. Whilst no First Class is offered on the Dreamliner, the Business Suites are a fantastic product for a comfortable long haul journey. Flights commence on 16 June and will be the only direct flight between Australia and continental Europe offered by any airline.
Rome makes for a perfect jump-off point to popular European destinations such as Athens, Frankfurt, Milan, and Nice with Qantas’ partner airlines. In Rome, Frequent Flyers and business passengers can access the Terminal 3 lounge of oneworld partner, British Airways before departure.
Qantas business class fares from Perth-Rome return are starting from $9188 including taxes for June 2023, with dates in July onwards to be progressively released 11.5 months in advance. These unique direct services are hotly anticipated and lower priced fares will book out in advance
Passengers are also able to take advantage of a multi-destination fare, allowing them to fly into Rome and return to Australia from London on the one Qantas ticket. You can also combine Qantas services with Emirates codeshare flights via Dubai to open up more destination and stopover options. Qantas flights to Rome can also be combined with routes via North America on British Airways and American Airlines to create a mini-round the world itinerary.
