Singapore Airlines Australian Schedule

Singapore Airlines is now offering fast and more frequent connections to major international destinations like London, Zurich and Rome, as well as better access to Beijing, Shanghai and Johannesburg.

The service is well ahead of the scheduled November launch, and is a testament to the increase in demand and its dedication to providing world-class travel opportunities to and from Brisbane.

In line with SIA’s strategy to grow across Australia in 2024, SQ266, the new service, will run four times weekly, boosting the airline’s total direct flights between Brisbane and Singapore to 25 a week.

This follows the success of the company’s additional flights during the 2023 end-of-year peak period.

On the additional flights operating Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, you’ll be travelling on the advanced, comfortable, Medium Haul Aircraft - SIA’s Airbus A350-900.

Business Class Offerings

The aircraft is equipped with 40 regional business class seats, offering a fully-flat bed for greater sleeping comfort on the 8 hour journey.

Fly with ease on SIA’s new Business Class seats, offering two different seating options - the Lazy Z, a cradling position that makes sure your weight is balanced when sitting down, and the Sundeck, a lounging position that allows you to stretch and rest your legs.

Louis Arul, regional vice president at SIA, says the demand for this particular flight is constantly increasing.

“We are happy to deliver this additional frequency which provides another option for travellers to Singapore and beyond to cities in Europe and Asia,” he said.

The growing service, to be established year-round, is a result of proactive efforts by Brisbane Airport and the Queensland Government through the Attracting Aviation Investment Fund (AAIF), which intends to boost Queensland's post-COVID economic recovery.

Flights will commence the new route on August 4th 2024.
