Singapore Airlines has reopened its Sydney SilverKris Lounge after a two-week refresh. It is ready to welcome Business Class and First Class passengers travelling with the airline and eligible Star Alliance frequent flyers. Rather than an extensive refurbishment, this is more of a refreshment to the lounge, which, after opening a decade ago, is a welcome to new and old guests.

Updates to The Lounge
The carpet and furniture have all been replaced to match some of the latest lounge products to deliver a revitalised experience. The refresh extends to the popular productivity pods that have been redesigned in a semi-private cubicle ideal for travellers seeking privacy and a conducive work environment. Guest to the new Singapore Business Class lounge can now enjoy a dedicated barista bar offering freshly brewed coffee.
The updated lounge also marks the debut of a new residential-themed design for Singapore Airlines, in which various lounges are modelled after many elements of a home. The airline hopes this will bring the feeling of home when travelling with Singapore Airlines - both in the air and while in the airport. Singapore Airlines' other recently refreshed lounges at Changi and the all-new Perth SilveKris business lounge follow this new refined contemporary look.

While the lounge was closed for two weeks, Singapore Airlines Business and First Class passengers enjoyed the service in the adjacent Air New Zealand Lounge. Now that the Singapore SilverKris Sydney Lounge is open again passengers travelling with a Star Alliance airline can choose between the two lounges in Syndey Airport.
The Singapore SilverKris Sydney Lounge is located on level 3 in Terminal 1 and is open daily from 5:30 am to 6:00 pm. To access the lounge, you must be holding a Singapore Business Class or First Class ticket, or travelling in Business Class or First Class with a Star Alliance partner airline.
