United Club San Francisco Airport Review

Recently while travelling from San Francisco to New York on an around the world trip, we checked into the United Club Lounge at the San Francisco Airport.

There are two United lounges in Terminal 3, and we visited the bigger of the two and closer to gates 70-80. This lounge although bigger has not been renovated to the new style of United lounges, despite this it was still very comfortable and because of the size of the lounge, it felt very exclusive.

United Club San Francisco

The lounge had a very grand welcome hall when you first entered, with departure screens and information desks to keep you informed on any changes in your flight. This area then opened on to the dining and lounge areas.

Welcome to the United Club

Because we were there before an early morning flight, the breakfast service was in full swing and included, cereal, fresh pastries, and fresh fruit, as well as tea, coffee and juices. There was a full bar in the lounge but it had not opened yet.

Selection of Pastries
Along with other cerals, there was also granola, fresh fruit and yogurt

The lounge and dining area was next to the floor to ceiling windows that had a great view of the runway, or in our case, the sunrise! The lounge chairs closer to the windows were definitely the best seats, to enjoy the view and have a bit more privacy. Between each seat was a point so you could charge your devices while you relaxed.

If you needed to do some work while in the lounge there was also a business centre in the lounge with more charging stations, private work stations and a printer.

The United Club was very comfortable and a great place to relax before your flight, along with this lounge there is also a United Polaris Lounge in Terminal 3 closer to gate 60. If you are looking to travel to San Francisco contact our expert travel consultants today!
