In a move set to increase travel options for Australians, Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has unveiled plans to enhance its operations in Australia. Starting from October 1, 2024, Emirates will introduce double daily A380 flights between Dubai and Brisbane, along with the reinstatement of a second daily flight to Perth, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER.
The upgraded Emirates second daily A380 flight, EK430/431, will significantly boost capacity between Dubai and Brisbane. Departing Dubai at 2:30 am, and arriving in Brisbane at 10:20 pm, this move to an all-A380 service is set to accommodate up to 100,000 extra passengers annually, solidifying Brisbane’s position as Emirate’s second busiest international destination.
Perth, on the other hand, will witness the return of Emirates second daily service starting December 1, 2024. Operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, flight EK424 will depart from Dubai at 9:15 am, and arrive in Perth 5 minutes past midday (12:05pm), the following day. The return flight, EK425, will depart from Perth at 6:00 am and arrive in Dubai at 1:10pm.
